Vacancy:
Project Finance Manager

What does this position entail?

At Rivoir, you will be responsible for the financial performance of complex DBFM(O) concessions. You will work together with investors, banks, shareholders and multidisciplinary project teams and ensure that projects remain financially healthy, predictable and future-proof. You are not only responsible for the numbers. You are a financial business partner who translates financial insights into decisions!

You will work together with investors, banks, shareholders and multidisciplinary project teams and ensure that projects remain financially healthy, predictable and future-proof.

As a Project Finance Manager, you are responsible for one or more concession projects. You monitor the financial performance throughout the entire lifecycle of a project – from financing and governance to operation, reporting and value development.

You operate within the SPC (Special Purpose Company) and are the financial sparring partner of Investment Managers, Business Managers, Asset Managers and external stakeholders such as banks, shareholders, accountants and advisors.

You combine financial analysis, treasury, governance and stakeholder management to keep projects financially predictable and manageable. In doing so, you look beyond the numbers alone. You understand how contracts, financing, risks and operational performance influence each other and translate this coherence into clear advice and concrete actions.

No day is the same. One day you are working on a quarterly report or financing issue, the next day you are discussing a business case with investors or supporting strategic decision-making within a project.

Where a Financial Controller focuses on the financial administration and reporting, you are responsible for the financial performance, governance and value development of the project.

A selection of our great customers & partners.

This is what your tasks look like!

  • Be responsible for the financial performance of one or more concession projects.
  • Drafting, maintaining and analysing financial project financing models.
  • Preparation of budgets, forecasts and management reports.
  • Monitoring financing agreements, covenants and treasury activities.
  • Providing shareholder, bank and management reports.
  • Advising project teams on financial risks, opportunities and scenarios.
  • Supporting refinancing, business cases and investment issues.
  • Identifying and managing financial and contractual risks.

"At Rivoir, you don't just look at the numbers. You understand how a concession works financially, advise on complex issues and contribute directly to the performance and value of essential infrastructure."
