Vacancy:
Technical Manager

What does this position entail?

At Rivoir, you will not only work on the execution of projects, but on the performance of infrastructure assets over the entire lifecycle from the perspective of the asset owner.

As a Technical Manager at Rivoir, you will be responsible for the technical functioning and performance of infrastructure assets such as tunnels, highways and energy infrastructure.

Where in a traditional role you often work on one project, here you work on multiple assets at the same time. You will focus on ensuring and improving the reliability, availability and maintainability of assets within long-term contracts.

You will operate within the SPC and work closely with asset managers, contractors and maintenance parties. In doing so, you ensure that maintenance and technical choices are in line with the performance requirements and lifecycle objectives of the asset.

You play an important role in analyzing performance, improving maintenance strategies and identifying risks. You translate technical issues into concrete improvement measures and ensure that they are implemented.

In this role, you look beyond just the implementation: you think about how assets can function smarter, more efficiently and more sustainably within their lifecycle. This lays the foundation for further development towards asset management.

A selection of our great customers & partners.

This is what your tasks look like!

  • Monitoring the technical performance, reliability and availability of assets
  • Analyzing malfunctions, performance and maintenance data and translating them into improvement measures
  • Assessing and optimizing maintenance plans and maintenance strategies
  • Identifying and mitigating technical risks
  • Technical assessment of proposals from maintenance parties
  • Support in preparation, planning and execution of maintenance
  • Monitoring maintenance work and making adjustments where necessary
  • Contributing to lifecycle management and cost optimization
  • Collaborate with asset managers and other stakeholders to improve performance
"What makes this role interesting is that you look at infrastructure from the perspective of the asset owner. You don't just work on the execution, but on the long-term performance of the asset."
