What does this position entail?

Within Rivoir, the project coordinator is part of the investment management team and expected to work on projects concerning with business and contract management. The investment management team consists of 10 professionals with backgrounds in technical work, finance and legal management.

From start to finish, Investment Management is the most pivotal part Rivoir’s service provision to infrastructure projects. The job has a multidisciplinary nature since we provide service provision to different stakeholders within the project; like the client and construction consortiums, to international banks, investors and top advisors. Making this a very dynamic but, demanding environment. The position of project coordinator is broad and covers both technical and financial components.

Tasks and Responsibilities

The Project Coordinator focuses on the processes and assurance related to investments and concession contracts. This involves overseeing aspects of major projects such as business planning, reporting, and monitoring progress and quality.

In this role, you will collaborate with multiple project teams, participating in the latest technological advancements in finance. As a Project Coordinator, you will work closely with the finance managers, legal managers, asset managers, and project directors of Rivoir Capital.

Your tasks and responsibilities include:
  • Support Project Management:
    • Assist in the strategy and management execution of projects related to infrastructure, public real estate, or renewable energy.
    • Prepare minutes for board meetings and follow up on actions.
  • Monitor Planning and Risks:
    • Keep track of planning and risks in the corporate calendar (Cmore).
    • Anticipate upcoming deadlines.
  • Analyze and Coordinate:
    • Analyze progress on planning, budget, and quality of the asset.
    • Coordinate follow-up actions with involved parties.
    • Analyze compliance with contracts (government, banks, contractors) and coordinate with relevant parties.
  • Organize Risk Sessions:
    • Organize risk sessions and ensure follow-up on actions discussed.
  • Ensure Documentation:
    • Ensure proper project documentation and archiving.
  • Implement and Improve Processes:
    • Implement and improve the Rivoir ‘way of working’ within the project portfolio.

What do we ask of you?

Desired Background and Experience
  • University diploma or equivalent working and thinking level
  • Technical or financial background with an affinity for engineering
  • Experience/interest in the engineering, construction, consulting, or investment industry
  • Affinity with (project) financing and (integral) DBFM(O) projects is an advantage, but not a must
  • 0-3 years of work experience
